Privacy Policy

Effective date: 5 October 2026

Quantum Guard (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how Quantum Guard collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website, applications, and related services.

1

Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Name and email address
  • Profile information provided through Google Sign-In
  • Device information and identifiers, installed application inventory where enabled, and device connectivity status
  • Application settings and user preferences
  • Activity logs, policy assignments, and device-management data
  • Security, focus, website filtering, and app-control settings
  • Diagnostic summaries explicitly submitted by users, including app version, platform and protection status. Routine device status and policy synchronization are processed separately to operate cloud management.
2

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain Quantum Guard services
  • Authenticate users
  • Manage profiles, devices, and permissions
  • Apply focus, app, website, and download protection rules
  • Synchronize settings across authorized devices
  • Improve service reliability, security, and functionality
  • Provide support and communicate important service updates
  • Verify subscription access and process billing support, renewals, cancellations and refunds through the payment provider
3

Authentication

Quantum Guard uses Google Sign-In through Supabase Auth. Google supplies the account identifier, email and profile information permitted by your sign-in settings. Supabase manages authentication and account sessions so QGuard can associate you with your authorized organizations and devices.

4

Cloud Storage and Data Processing

Supabase stores and processes QGuard account profiles, organization memberships, device enrollment and status, assigned protection policies, remote commands and subscription-access records. Cloudflare supports application distribution and, where enabled, private diagnostic archives that users explicitly submit. The website is hosted through Odoo, which processes website requests and information submitted through its forms.

5

Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only:

  • With service providers required to operate the platform
  • When necessary to provide authentication and cloud features
  • Where required by law or legal process
  • To protect the safety, rights, or security of users and the platform
6

Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7

User Control

Users may be able to:

  • Access and update account information
  • Manage devices and settings
  • Disconnect linked devices
  • Request deletion of account-related data, where applicable
8

Children and Supervised Use

Quantum Guard may be used in parental-control, school, or organizational environments. Administrators, parents, or authorized controllers are responsible for ensuring their use complies with applicable laws and consent requirements.

9

Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

10

Third-Party Services

Our service providers include Google for sign-in, Supabase for account and device-management services, Cloudflare for distribution and enabled diagnostic archives, and Odoo for website hosting. When Paddle checkout is available, Paddle acts as merchant of record and processes payment-method and billing information under its own terms and privacy policy. QGuard receives customer and transaction references, subscription status and relevant billing records to verify access, handle renewals and support cancellations or refunds. QGuard does not receive or store your full card number or card security code. Paddle's privacy policy is available at https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Android privacy controls and account deletion

Android version 1.12.5 introduces separate disclosures and affirmative consent for cloud synchronization, Accessibility, Usage Access, local DNS filtering and folder monitoring. Cloud sharing can be stopped in Settings → Privacy & account without deleting local saved protection rules. Authorized device management remains visible through Android protection notifications. It is intended for your own device, parental management of your child, or authorized organization-owned devices, never covert monitoring of another adult's personal device.

Visible app names, package identifiers and versions can be synchronized to Supabase for authorized app selection. Android app-usage durations and last-used times stay on the phone and are not uploaded. Screen and download-button text used by Accessibility is processed locally, not stored or uploaded. Local blocking records identify blocked apps and event times. New installations use an app-generated installation identifier. Existing installations retain their earlier enrollment identifier to preserve pairing.

Web Protection checks domain names locally. Allowed DNS requests are sent over encrypted HTTPS to Cloudflare's resolver, which receives queried domain names and the network address under Cloudflare's public DNS privacy commitments. Blocked requests are answered locally. QGuard stores a local block count and last blocked domain. This DNS filter does not encrypt all network traffic or inspect page contents.

Download Guard accesses only a folder explicitly selected through Android's file picker. No all-files access or broad installed-app visibility permission is requested. Newly completed files matching rules can be moved to private local quarantine and restored from Download Guard. Vault and quarantined files are not uploaded. Restore files before uninstalling because private app files are then removed.

Request deletion of your QGuard account and associated personal data from this website or from Android Settings → Privacy & account. Google sign-in identifies the requesting account. Requests receive a receipt and pending status; submission is not immediate deletion or subscription cancellation. Account profile, personal device links, app inventory and account-associated diagnostic data are covered. Shared organization ownership or billing may need resolution first. Limited records required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or security purposes may be retained for the period required for those purposes, with the retained records explained when processing the request. Your Google account and local files on your devices are not deleted by this request. Cancel subscription renewals separately with the billing provider.
