Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective date: 5 October 2026
QGuard (Quantum Guard) provides device protection, focus tools and authorized connected-device management. This policy applies to QGuard website and Windows subscriptions purchased through Paddle.
First-payment refunds
You may request a full refund for any reason within 14 calendar days of your first paid subscription charge, including the first charge after a free trial. This covers monthly and yearly Family subscriptions and the first Business subscription payment. There is no usage-based restriction during this period. QGuard will instruct Paddle to process an eligible refund; payment records determine the date and amount paid.
Later renewals
After the first-payment refund period, cancellation stops future renewals and does not automatically refund a current billing period or unused time. Refund requests for later renewals, duplicate charges or unresolved technical problems are reviewed individually. Mandatory consumer rights and any more favorable rights under Paddle's terms always apply.
Family free month
Eligible new users receive one free calendar month of Family only after checkout with a card or another supported payment method. No subscription charge is made during that free month. The checkout displays the renewal date, price, taxes and cancellation terms. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription renews at the selected price: USD 4.99 per month or USD 49 per year for up to five devices, before applicable taxes. Business does not include this Family offer. Trials are limited to one eligible new-user offer and are verified on the server.
Canceling a subscription
Cancel through Manage subscription in QGuard's billing page, the management link in your Paddle receipt, or Paddle buyer support. You can also ask for help using QGuard Contact. Cancel before the next renewal date to prevent that charge. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period or trial. Removing the app, signing out or deleting a local profile does not cancel billing.
Requesting a refund
Use the support link in your Paddle receipt, visit Paddle buyer support, or contact QGuard through our contact page. Provide the purchase email and transaction or receipt reference. Never send your full card number, security code or password. Paddle processes refunds to the original payment method where possible. The time for funds to appear depends on Paddle and your payment provider.
Access after cancellation, expiry or refund
A canceled subscription normally keeps its verified access through the current period. When verified trial or paid access ends, paid remote-management features are restricted and the organization returns to Free. Saved protection rules and local Free protection remain available. A verified full refund or payment reversal may end the associated paid access before the original period ends. Device permissions and Client restrictions continue to apply.
Payment provider and statutory rights
Paddle is the merchant of record for purchases completed through Paddle and handles payment processing, tax and refunds. Paddle's buyer terms and refund policy also apply. This policy does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights or prevent Paddle from granting a refund under its own terms. Purchases distributed through Google Play follow Google Play's purchase, cancellation and refund processes; contact QGuard for assistance with access issues.
Policy changes
The policy in effect at the time of a purchase applies to that purchase, subject to mandatory law and the payment provider's terms. Future changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
